Acoustic Cool

Crick welcomes back Acoustic Cool - the duo made up of Mansfield-based Jim and Huthwaite-based Rob. Their unique sound has been developed over the years and blends Jim's incredible voice with both acoustic and electric guitars. The talented pair have also created their own backing tracks of bass and drums.
Dusty 4 Track

Will Jeffery and Ben James are Dusty 4 Track, a blues/folk act from Nottingham.
The mixture of Ben's blues and soul influences and Will's alternative folk influences create a wonderful eclectic mix of tunes with melodies that will stick in your head and music that wlll make you tap your foot.
Dusty 4 Track were recently in the studio recording their first EP. Keep your ear to the ground for their first release.
The Scutters

The Scutters are a happy foot-tapping band of seasoned musicians playing a mixture of well known songs with some folk and Irish music thrown in.
Frontman, vocalist and guitarist Des Fraser, Steve Redshaw (vocals, guitar, mandolin, banjo) and Richard Noton, (cajon and percussion) formed the band in 2021 after connecting with each other on the Rugby and Midlands music circuit..
Josie Field

From performing at Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday celebration to supporting James Blunt on his debut tour in South Africa, singer songwriter Josie Field has no intention of slowing down. Her signature sound is a potent mix of lyricism and fire, heart-felt issues and tender constructions. She has a unique soulful blues infused voice and vocal delivery style that sets her apart.
A Different Kettle Of Fish

A recently formed four-piece band playing a wide variety of favourite rock, blues and country classics ranging from the 1960’s to the ‘noughties’. With a very comprehensive set list which has a broad appeal to a wide-ranging audience, A Different Kettle Of Fish is fronted by Lead Singer and guitarist Dangerous Derrick, who joined in 2023. The other three members, Guy, Adrian and Bill have been playing individually for decades, and performing locally together for a number of years, and have an interesting variety of musical backgrounds, experiences, influences and tastes…
Joel Gardner

With one hand placed firmly in Pop, Rock and Groove and the other in Trad, Roots and Folk, Joel Gardner’s music is built on infectious melodies, introspective lyrics and intricate guitar playing. His songwriting style and sound is often compared to the likes of Paul Simon and Frank Turner while drawing on influences from guitar virtuosos such as Andy McKee, John Gomm and John Butler.
Sam Hinds

A songwriter first and foremost, and a record producer close second; creating meaningful music has been a passion and lifelong calling for Sam Hinds from a young age. His first EP, ‘Rolling Stone’ boasts four fully produced tracks, perfectly capturing poignant lyrics, passionate vocals and dynamic guitar playing. Rooted firmly in the folk and southern rock territory, with a nod to country and blues; this record draws influence from artists such as Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, Ariel Posen, The Bros. Landreth, Whiskey Myers and more.
The Folly Brothers

The Folly Brothers have been going from strength to strength on the festival circuit, with Austria, Ireland, Scotland and England all under their belts. The band's sound “delves into a gritty and rootsy mélange full of sweeping licks, pumping bass lines and melodious harmonies, blending a modern country twang with rollicking bluegrass which has stirred up the UK roots scene” (Acoustic Magazine).
